Well we have a few things we can tell you about. Sorry for not letting you know – we meet up, we often put some silly pics posed during our meetings online on our personal facebook pages but not enough on the main website. Sorry. It will/will not happen again (delete as appropriate).

So for starters (above) here’s one you can peruse – showing three of our four hard at work! Actually it looks as if Ashley is speaking into the moogerfooger whilst David and Stephen are monitoring the results. This is because in a day or so we are having a little event in which our selected voice artistes are popping down to Stephen’s so we can get ALL the dalek voices done. Yep – for all episodes! Although we have an edit of the whole epic (which was shown to friends last June at the launch of episode one – see news) it features us as the dalek voices – something which we simply can’t cope with! You see, we can so easily work out who is voicing each dalek even though they have been done through the proper kit, and so we wanted some new (and much more talented) people to play the dalek parts.

So, after a brief trawl around the dark recesses of the acting profession we have isolated a small number of individuals highly suited to the parts – and this weekend they will be gracing us with their dalek performances. Naturally we’ve told them to read the newspapers or watch the news to get suitably wound up by world affairs etc to get psyched up for the roles, and so by eleven on Sunday morning they’ll be primed and ready.

We hope to take a few pics and some footage of the event and will feature it as one of the short videos we will put up before episode two comes along.

And on that front we have made great progress in a couple of areas – and hope you’ll “bear with” as we plough on. The problem is that some of the visual effects that we need to complete the whole project need to be sorted now so they are usable throughout. Not all, but some key elements. We hope you enjoyed part one and hope that two will maintain the standard – and also leave you nonplussed as to what is actually going on to some extent (our plan).

And we’ve also had a bit of fun with the music – whilst Ashley was at our friend Paul’s house for a meetup, avec famile, Paul did an ad-hoc live remix of the theme he had previously arranged – so now there’s a version with a dance beat. We’re sure you’ll hear it at some stage – below is some of the kit employed although the two wine glasses are missing from the photo.

It also appears to be some twenty years since Comic Relief 1999 and we may have some unseen photos to annotate in a new celebratory article – hopefully on the site by next week. If it turns out the photos have been seen before then we’ll still write something – even if it will trigger you into donating for a VERY worthy cause!
