We have two deadlines – one of which is next Thursday. The second one we think is this year. The first one is getting everything ready for Episode 6 to be shown at the DWAS Capitol convention this May 9th. We are on the bill as far as we know and are travelling up to watch the great premiere! Well, most of us are – there may not be the full four of us but those present will make up for the missing in terms of nerves…
…and pride too! We are proud to have achieved the last episode of this epic and hope you will like the grand finale.
For the convention the episode six that we will present will not quite be the same as the one you will see on youtube later (this year, we hope). That youtube date – that’s the second deadline you see. There are parts of episode six that have been so complicated we have decided to freeze the development and show it as is, and then complete the work for the final version. That’s not to say the version we are showing at the convention isn’t complete as such, but some of the shots and effects will be worked on further, with some different angles and takes on the sequences. The plot, the storyline and 98% of the visuals are the same.
Of course you’ll be wanting some teaser shots now, as per usual, and they may get added to this articles as we decide … In the meantime here’s an outtake shot of David and Tony from episode 2…
Of course David’s expression here perfectly matches those of the team right now as we are all running something demanding on our computers as we piece the thing together. There’s the inevitable snag list which is currently 74 items long of things to sort. Things you may not spot. Things you may. (75, then in that case). Things we will attempt to sort or at least make decisions on for the next week deadline. This process helps us enormously and we thank Tony Jordan of DWAS for his support for us over the years in giving us these deadlines to get this epic completed.
