Word has just reached us of an online Auction to be held on Saturday 22nd March in which our original TARDIS Police Box is one of the items for sale.
Stephen parted with our old prop many years ago – and we have built a few more since then for various purposes (see The Never Was, and Devious Episode 2 “beach scene”). It made its way to the Sci_fi Museum in the West Midlands and it seems that museum is to close.
Here below is a link which gives much more detail and will be able to guide you in the right direction should you wish you purchase it. As far as we recall, we have had the 3rd, 5th, 6th and 7th Doctors emerge from our box, although what happened to it after we sadly let it go is a mystery. For certain it definitely had Jon Pertwee reprise his opening shot from Spearhead from Space and fall from it back in 1995 – and viewable in an early version of our closing scene on The War Games original BBC DVD.

There are a lot of other interesting items for sale so go for it! We’d be really interested to see what happens!
We can’t quite remember whether it was the 5th or the 6th or both that had emerged from our box at a convention somewhere (Newcastle we think), although we can definitely confirm the 7th Doctor …
Above we see Sylvester with the builder of that Police Box – Stephen Cranford from the Devious Team!
